The Stringed Crane Conservatory looks forward to ringing in 2024’s Workshop Event Series with an evening honoring James Baldwin in this centennial year of his birth.
Join us in the saz workshop for a screening of Sedat Pakay’s short film, James Baldwin: From Another Place, and a special performance by vocalist Charles Lane and friends, who have prepared a selection of gospel and blues meditating on the significance of music to Baldwin’s thought and writing.
